A Note to New Readers
Kingdoms rise and fall. Libraries burn. Languages change. With each passing century, another fragment of the past is lost to time.
Yet not all is forgotten.
Across the World, ancient inscriptions endure upon weathered stone. Fragments of manuscripts survive within temple archives. Old songs continue to be sung, long after their original meaning has faded from memory. Together, these remnants offer us fleeting glimpses of the ages that came before.
It is the purpose of this collection of writings to examine those fragments and preserve what knowledge can still be found within them.
In the articles that follow, we shall explore the creation of the World, the Age of Gods, the rise and fall of kingdoms, and many of the mysteries that continue to puzzle historians to this day. Some questions have answers. Others offer only theories. A few remain stubbornly beyond our understanding.
Such is the nature of history.
I invite you to join me as we journey into the forgotten ages.
